Training & development

DonutNV has an immediate opening for Picker/Packer for our shipping facility. Previous experience as a picker or similar role in a warehouse setting is highly desired but is not required as we will provide adequate training and development opportunities for the right candidates.

The Picker/Packer is responsible for picking and packing products based on customers’ orders. A Picker/Packer should have a positive attitude and great attention to detail as they are required to accurately read orders, FIFO inventory (First in, first out), and verify that the items picked match the pick tickets. Picker/Packers should thrive in environments that require them to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities:

Primarily responsible for the picking and packing of product SKUs for customers’ orders.

Maintains accurate order picking and packing per Standard Operating Procedures while maintaining accurate inventory records.

Completes orders in a correct and timely manner to ensure they are received on time.

Experience using an ERP system to account for accurate inventory.

Follows good manufacturing practices maintaining a clean and safe work area.

Operates various pieces of equipment (i.e., Stand-Up Forklifts, and Electrical Pallet Jacks).

Inspects all incoming products coming from the production facility for product quality and accuracy.

Provides support to other members of the team within the shipping warehouse.

Requirements:

Warehouse experience a plus but not required; company training provided

Must be able to work with minimal supervision.

Familiar with shipping platforms such as Rollo, ShipStation etc.

Experience with Shopify storefronts.

Maintain a positive and team focused attitude.

Ability to read, write and speak fluent English.

Must be able to pass a background check.

Familiar with using scanning devices and Microsoft Office Suite

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to remain standing for long periods of time, upwards of 8 hours at a time, and move throughout the warehouse

Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds of product

Must be able to reach with hands and arms for product and use hands to work with and feel product

Be able to frequently climb and descend ladders or lift platforms that may be greater than 6 feet

Be able to move body to access products that are out of reach above or below body level

Other Information:

Hours of operation are Monday – Friday 8am – 5pm
