Job Description

Position open for qualified engineering personnel capable of heavy industrial design and detailing. 3-5 years experience in AutoCAD and 3D drawings required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related education.
• Thorough understanding of:
  • Drafting standards, dimensioning, and tolerances
  • Mechanical power relationships such as horsepower, torque, speed, ratios
  • Shaft, bearing, and power transmission design and analysis
  • Strengths of materials and structural analysis
  • ASD/LRFD steel design code
• Mechanical engineering and machine design
• CEMA specifications and standards
• Manufacturing processes such as (machining, welding, forming, and stamping)
• Training and/or experience in using 2D or 3D CAD software, AutoCAD is a must, Advanced Steel is a plus.
• Commonly used software packages including: MS Office
• Willingness to learn, listen, but also think and act independently
