We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Expo/Food Runner to join our team at our fine dining restaurant, Lonesome Dove! The Expo/Food Runner plays a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive their meals promptly and efficiently, contributing to an exceptional dining experience. This position requires strong customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with kitchen staff and servers.

Duties

Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to guests in a timely manner, ensuring accuracy and presentation.

Assist servers by providing support during busy periods, including refilling drinks and clearing tables.

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including resetting tables for new guests.

Communicate effectively with kitchen staff regarding food orders and any special requests from guests.

Help with food preparation as needed, ensuring all items are ready for service during peak times.

Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and ensuring satisfaction throughout their dining experience.

Qualifications

Previous experience in food service or hospitality is required.

Familiarity with hotel operations or banquet services is a plus.

Strong customer service skills with a passion for helping others.

Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Knowledge of food preparation techniques is advantageous.

Excellent communication skills and teamwork mentality.

Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift items as necessary.
