The Export Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the export of goods and commodities. This includes preparing all necessary documentation, arranging shipping, and tracking shipments until delivery. The ideal candidate will have experience in the shipping and logistics industry, as well as strong communication and organizational skills.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and process all export documentation, including bills of lading, export declarations, and customs clearance documents.
- Coordinate with shipping lines, freight forwarders, and other third-party vendors to arrange shipments.
- Track shipments and communicate with customers on the status of their shipments.
- Resolve any issues that may arise during the shipping process.
- Maintain accurate records of all shipments.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in the shipping and logistics industry.
- Strong knowledge of export documentation and regulations.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
