_ Payroll Specialist_

A San Gabriel Valley construction company is looking for a new Payroll Specialist to join their team! As a Payroll Specialist, you'll be assisting with maintaining personnel files, running weekly payroll, and data entry

• Full-time schedule - Monday through Friday, 7:00AM to 4:00PM
• Great for those local to the Pasadena, Rosemead, San Gabriel Valley region
• Pay starting at $20-$21

** Essential Duties:**

• Set-up new hires
• Maintenance personnel files
• Run weekly in house payroll for 100+ employees
• Audit overtime hours
• Prepare payroll documents for data entry
• Process manual checks
• State and federal tax wire transfers
• Calculate salary adjustments, vacation pay

** What we're looking for: ***

• Intermediate user of Microsoft Excel
• An excellent communicator
• Sharp, efficient and detailed oriented individual who knows how to prioritize
• Accurate typing and data entry skills
• 2 years in house payroll experience
• 10 key by touch
• Data entry, 8,000 kph w/high % of accuracy
• Typing 40wpm
