    F45 Training is a global fitness community specializing in innovative, high-intensity group workouts that are fast, fun, and results-driven, and we are coming to Boston!

    We are looking for a motivated Head Trainer for our first studio, F45 Training Allston! We are looking for someone to oversee our studio operations, someone who is an energetic, responsible, personable fitness professional with the ability to connect with our members, inspire change and lead a team!

    About the Company

    Hillcrest Health, LLC was formed in January 2019 with the aim of becoming the leading F45 Training franchisee in North America. Hillcrest Health’s first F45 Training studios are located in Northern Virginia, Colorado, Maryland, Pennsylvania, Georgia and North Carolina. The company will expand into Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Minnesota, Missouri, South Carolina, Ohio, Delaware, New York, and D.C. over the coming six years. Hillcrest Health, LLC has the vision of owning and operating a minimum of 90 individual F45 Training studios by 2027.

    The company’s mission is to help more people achieve their health and fitness goals by delivering the world's best group workout experience through our network of F45 Training studios.

    Responsibilities

    Schedule and Expectations

    Responsible for providing management coverage during all hours designated by the VP of Operations.

    Responsible for the studio trial process delivery for all trial members during designated shifts. These processes will include but are not limited to delivering detailed studio tours, conducting trial member intakes, completing in-body scans and comprehensive planning sessions, and presenting membership pricing.

    Responsible for coaching a minimum of 12-15 classes per week.

    Trainer Management

    Responsible for vetting, conducting interviews, and hiring trainers, dependent on the need of the studio at any particular time.

    Responsible for onboarding all training staff in alignment with the Hillcrest Health onboarding guidelines.

    Building, training, and leading a team that can provide our members a high-quality group training experience.

    Create a schedule for the training team to ensure full class coverage 30 days in advance.

    Track, process, review, and submit studio payroll for approval in accordance with regularly scheduled payroll practices of the company in a timely manner depicted by company policy.

    Conduct performance reviews for the training team and ensure that each member of the training staff is accountable for their roles and responsibilities on an ongoing and consistent basis.

    Studio Maintenance

    Responsible for ensuring that the studio is impeccably maintained at all times.

    Responsible for conducting and managing studio equipment maintenance to ensure longevity.

    Requirements

    A minimum of 1-2 years of leadership and management experience within the fitness industry.

    A minimum of 2-3 years of personal training experience.

    Current CPR/AED certification is required

    ACSM, ACE, NASM, and NSCA certifications required

    Physical Demands

    Understanding of functional movements, HIIT, heart rate-focused training programs, and the science that supports the F45 workouts

    Must demonstrate excellent knowledge and be able to properly execute all exercises and movements for all classes

    Ability to stand, walk, and participate in classes for extended periods of time

    Must be able to safely lift up to 65 lbs

    Must be able to pass F45 trainer on-boarding orientation and training requirements

    Work Environment

    Regularly exposed to moving and operating free weights, battle ropes, bars, kettlebells, sleds, bands, rowers, spin bikes, etc.

    Must be able to accommodate a higher level of sound for classes

    Some weekends are required, and some holidays as needed to support the business

    Job Types: Full-time, salary

    Pay: $40,000 - $60,000 per year, benefits, and merit based discretionary bonus.
