Position Overview:
As a Team Member, you will be an ambassador of the Ladybird and our core values. You will be an integral part of the guest experience, through the face‐to‐face guest interaction. You are the face of Ladybird Taco to our guests. You will report to the General Manager and Assistant Assistant General Manager, and will be empowered to make your own decisions that create the best experience for our guests.
You will be responsible for crafting thoughtful and personalized experiences for our guests from greeting them, taking their order with supreme accuracy, making their drinks, and delivering a life-giving experience.
We encourage our team members to be well-rounded team players, willing to get their hands dirty and do whatever it takes to keep your store running smoothly! No matter what position you start in with us, you will have the opportunity to be cross-trained and will be tasked to take on different positions within our team.
Responsibilities:
Team Member responsibilities include and are not limited to:
Maintain cleanliness of front line, lobby, bathrooms + patio area, take out lobby trash, bus and clean tables and chairs. Restock utensils, napkins, beverage station, and bathrooms
Learn and maintain knowledge of our changing menu to effectively communicate all ingredients to guests
Maintain knowledge of critical dietary information and demonstrate proper food handling
Set up, maintain and break down front of house area
Operate POS register to complete guest transactions
Greet guests, guide the guest journey, resolve guest issues and properly inform guests of rewards
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front of house
Requirements/Desired Traits:
Food, Restaurant, Team and/or Customer Service experience
A team player with a positive can-do attitude
Quick and adaptable learner
Excellent and collaborative communication skills
A knack for delivering personable customer service and a desire to make connections with guests everyday
Accountable in upholding high standards
Physical Requirements:
Ability to read and comprehend information at a close range at a close range, and follow instructions accurately and efficiently
Ability to use electronic systems, such as computers and tablets.
Physically able to lift up to 25 pounds and, stand for long periods of time
Manual dexterity able to operate cutting tools and kitchen utensils
Subject to exposure to cleaning chemicals
