    Insero Talent Solutions has partnered with an industry-leading, publicly traded manufacturing company headquartered outside Palmyra, NY to recruit an FP&A Manager.

    Position Summary:

    The FP&A Manager will be responsible for contributing to the forecasting, budgeting, and financial analysis processes, as well as providing strategic financial insights to support the Company's growth and profitability. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of financial management principles, a penchant for understanding the underlying business operations and key business drivers, and a proven track record of driving process improvements. Oversee the cost reporting, control and information systems and manage the standard product cost and variance reporting processes and systems in accordance with GAAP. Support Finance Team processes including monthly closing, acquisitions, system implementations and ad hoc analyses and projects.

     

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Drive improvements in financial processes, systems, and reporting capabilities to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
    • Produce models to project financial results and determine the impact on business factors through information systems development, training and implementation.
    • Communicate to senior management the reasons behind the product/department performance and results.
    • Support the V.P. of Finance of Global Operations in collecting and recording data for the Operating Plan and forecasting processes.
    • Provide detailed analysis and commentary on cost center results.
    • Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and support planning and forecasting processes.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of financial plans.
    • Support the monthly financial reporting process, including variance analysis and management reporting.
    • Mentor and develop team members, promoting a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.
    • Reviewing existing processes and procedures to develop recommendations for improvement efforts.
    • Drive the collection of data for all sites in the organization and roll up forecasts.
    • Serve as a key resource person by maintaining a working knowledge of operations and cost systems and interacting with management to provide relevant cost analyses.
    • Monitor and maintain the accuracy of individual standard product costs and assesses the impact of deviations from standard.
    • Monitor and maintain the accuracy and controls for inventories and corresponding valuation systems.
    • Coordinate the financial closing of the standard cost system including updating standard costs.
    • Maintain operating and procedure manuals for cost systems.
    • Other duties as assigned.
    • Support Acquisition Activities.
    • Support System Integrations.
    • Participate in Key Projects as Requested by Executive Management.
    • Process Improvement Activities as Identified.
    • Other Leadership and Support as Identified/Needed.

     

    Requirements and Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or a related field.
    • 10+ years of diversified experience in financial planning and analysis.
    • Expert financial modeling and analytical skills.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial software applications.
    • In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, financial statement analysis, and management reporting.
    • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
    • Consummate team player and team builder.
    • Strong attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and a results-driven mindset.
    • Strong quantitative abilities.
    • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build relationships.
    • Advanced computer software skills, including writing macros in Excel and other accounting packages.
  • Compensation
    $120,000-$135,000 per year
