    Job Description

    McDonald’s is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical FP&A Specialist to join our finance team. This role will support Global Impact and Global Legal through financial analysis and reporting. The ideal candidate will have the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

    The Specialist will be part of the Business Advisory Services team within the Corporate Controller Group. As a part of the Global Finance team, this role provides financial expertise and support to other Global departments – Global Impact and Global Legal.

    Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

    • Act as one of the Finance Business partners to the Global Impact and Global Legal departments.
    • Assist with the month-end close process, including issue resolution, variance analysis, and monthly reporting.
    • Support processes surrounding the long-range plan, annual budget, quarterly forecast, and monthly variance analysis.
    • Investigate and understand detailed drivers of spending within the Global Impact and Global Legal business units and support strategies to manage and report operating expenses, capital expenditures, and project costs.

    The expected salary range for this role is $65,820 – $82,280 per year

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Accounting or Finance. Professional experience preferred
    • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint proficiency
    • Ability to handle and analyze large amounts of data quickly and efficiently
    • Cost management and budgetary planning experience is a plus
    • Desire to work independently amid ambiguity in a fast-paced environment
    • Strong aptitude with financial systems
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills – ability to interact with all disciplines, levels, and cultures and build relationships
    • A strategic mindset, bias towards action, skepticism of the status quo, and can-do attitude – someone who is not afraid to dig in, uncover problems, and find solutions as a collective team
