  • Responsibilities

    As a Fabricator at Lime Media, you will play a crucial role in executing and overseeing various fabrication projects. Your responsibilities will encompass a wide range of tasks, including but not limited to:

    Duties & Responsibilities

    • Woodworking: Proficient in rough and finish carpentry, cabinet making, and other woodworking techniques.
    • Metal Working: Welding techniques such as MIG and TIG. Sheet metal fabrication preferred.
    • Electrical and HVAC Systems: Design and installation of electrical and HVAC systems as needed for fabrication projects.
    • Generator Maintenance: Perform mechanical diagnosis, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of gas/diesel generators.
    • High-Level Finishing: Ensure all fabricated materials meet the highest standards of finishing.
    • Drawing Interpretation: Read and interpret simple/basic diagrams and schematics to guide project completion using best practices.
    • Project Implementation: Collaborate with shop management to implement project plans and meet daily milestones for completion.
    • Quality Assurance: Conduct quality assurance procedures to ensure the final product meets the highest standards.
    • Workspace Maintenance: Maintain a clean and orderly workspace and toolbox to ensure efficiency and safety.
    • Adaptability: Be flexible and willing to take on other duties as assigned to support the team and company goals.

    Requirements

    • Forklift certified.
    • Proven experience in woodworking, electrical, HVAC, and generator maintenance.
    • Proficiency in reading diagrams and schematics.
    • Strong mechanical skills and problem-solving abilities.
    • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

    Physical Requirements

    • Ability to lift, push, and carry heavy materials greater than 50 pounds and work in various positions, including standing, stooping, squatting, kneeling, and bending for extended periods.
    • Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.

    Work Environment

    • Fabrication shop, which may include exposure to noise, fumes, dust, and varying temperatures.
    • Required to wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).

    Additional Requirements

    • Valid driver's license.
    • Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime when necessary.
    • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
    • Travel when necessary.
