The Facilities Attendant is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and overall upkeep of the facility to ensure a safe, functional, and professional environment. This role involves cleaning various areas of the facility, assisting with maintenance needs, and upholding safety protocols. The Custodian plays a vital part in keeping the facility operational and clean for all employees and visitors, ensuring all duties are completed with attention to detail and adherence to compliance standards.
Responsibilities:
- Clean all facility departments, including rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, and corridors.
- Sweep and mop floors throughout the building.
- Perform weekly cleaning of gutters, rails, spigots, and air handling units.
- Manage puddles and spills generated by grow processes.
- Dust and polish furniture, fixtures, and equipment, remove cobwebs, and clean desks and countertops.
- Empty, clean, and sanitize waste receptacles.
- Clean and sanitize restroom facilities, including sinks, urinals, and toilets; wash mirrors and walls, and replenish restroom supplies.
- Clean lunchroom facilities, including washing tables, countertops, sinks, microwaves, and refrigerators weekly.
- Identify and report any necessary building maintenance or repairs.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the grounds around the building, including front, dock, and rear areas.
- Organize custodial supplies and equipment, including submitting purchase requests as necessary.
- Follow all safety protocols and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Willingly assist with additional tasks as required to maintain the facility.
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 21 years of age and eligible to obtain and maintain medical marijuana work credentials.
- A minimum of two years of relevant work experience in a manufacturing or production facility is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of janitorial services with a focus on cleanliness and sanitation.
- Attention to detail and the ability to identify maintenance needs.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Professional demeanor, a strong work ethic, and reliability.
- Must pass internal and external background checks successfully.
Compensation: $35,000
