Under the general supervision of the Operations Director or Warehouse management, the Facility Cleaner has the primary responsibility of maintaining the integrity facility in such a way to promote a clean, presentable environment at all times. It is the role of the Facility Cleaner to follow daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning duties.
Must be able to perform the following job duties. The following is a general job description and may not include all specific responsibilities:
- Garbage cans cleaned and sanitized, refilled with waste bags
- Reload all necessary dispensers throughout the Facility - soap, paper towels, toilet paper, batteries, etc.
- Remove dirty/soiled utensils/dishware to the proper areas of the dish room.
- Clean and dry ice coolers
- Clean and dry coffee containers
- Properly store and replace all supplies used
- Maintain (clean and organize) coffee/tea areas
- Maintain (clean and organize) ice machine
- Empty, sanitize and bag trash receptacles throughout facility
- Clean and sanitize all drains in Kitchen and Warehouse
- Pressure Washing, as needed
- Sweep/Mop/Vacuum Office Floors
- Clean all Office windows, walls and doors
- Dust Offices
- Clean all bathrooms, toilets and sinks
- Dusting all front office areas and changing light bulbs throughout (as needed)
General qualifications:
- Experience in an FDA or USDA regulated facility is a plus
- Work in fast paced environment and can adapt to sudden changes
- Ability to be flexible with work shifts
- Be able to lift 40-60 lbs
- Interact with sales staff in a professional manner
- Self-motivated, able to work efficiently by oneself, and able to work within a team environment
- Interact with management, effectively communicating needs to complete job duties
- Maintain positive job attitude.
- Able to pass/comply with background check
- Report all safety/maintenance/pest concerns to management
- Must have effective organizational, problem solving, and time management skills. Ability to learn and comprehend information from Procedures Manuals and other materials.
- Good personal hygiene, and physical and mental health that do not interfere with responsibilities.
- This job involves standing for long periods as well as stooping, squatting, lifting, carrying, pushing, and climbing. Wearing of protective equipment, such as latex gloves, per OSHA regulations is required.
