About the General Affairs Coordinator position
We are looking for a competent Coordinator to assist with all aspects of General Affairs business. This includes procurement activities, gathering and recording data, oversight and monitoring of facility management contractors, assisting raw materials as necessary, and the pickup and delivery of supply items.
General Affairs Coordinator responsibilities are:
- Assist in the management of company vehicles to include maintaining vehicle use logs, perform daily vehicle checks, report issues, and schedule and coordinate repairs and services
- Enter invoices in SAP for processing; Track departmental spending against budgets
- Gather and record material consumption data; Assist in processing purchase requisitions
- Prepare express mail shipments and maintain records
- Monitor work of cleaning service provider, lawn maintenance provider, and other outside contractors
- Review inventory of consumable items and request replenishment of stock
- Move supply items to areas needed, move and assemble furniture
- Perform occasional minimal janitorial tasks
- Comply with and support the health, safety, and environmental programs, policies, and procedures. Contribute to 5S success of the team
- Assist in control bulletin boards postings
- Understand the systems used for inventory control
- Perform cycle counts and physical inventory as directed; audit the MRO warehouse
- Assist in investigation of inventory issues
- Perform other duties as assigned
General Affairs Coordinator requirements are:
Education:
- (Required) High School Diploma, GED or Equivalent
- (Preferred) Bachelor's degree in Business Administration
Experience:
- (Required) Previous relevant experience
- (Preferred) Previous experience in general affairs in the manufacturing industry
Physical Demands:
- Must be able to frequently move about the manufacturing plant campus, general office environments, production areas, and occasionally ascend/descend stairs
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time
- Must be able to operate a computer and other office productivity machinery
- Must be able to position self to file documents including the top and bottom drawers of file cabinets
- Must be able to occasionally move office equipment and supplies weighing up to 25 pounds
