    Position Overview: The Facilities Engineer is responsible for planning, implementing, and maintaining the infrastructure, equipment, and operations of manufacturing facility infrastructure and systems. This includes managing maintenance staff, overseeing facility improvement projects, and ensuring compliance with Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) standards. The Facility Engineer will develop and implement policies to improve efficiency, safety, and sustainability while ensuring compliance with OSHA regulations.

    _****Key Responsibilities:

    • Oversee and schedule maintenance and preventative tasks for the building infrastructure and facility systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general building systems.
    • Assign and manage tasks for building and installing partitions, offices, shelving, and wiring systems as required.
    • Conduct employee safety training on general safety practices, fire safety, hazard communication (Right to Know), and First Aid/CPR/AED. Hold quarterly safety meetings to maintain compliance.
    • Coordinate hazardous waste storage and disposal and manage quarterly wastewater testing, ensuring timely reporting to regulatory agencies.
    • Develop and implement plans to optimize building resources, including energy, water, and air conditioning efficiency.
    • Investigate and document safety incidents, prepare reports, and implement corrective actions.
    • Maintain safety equipment inventory and ensure all required items are available and functional.
    • Plan, design, and oversee facility improvement projects, including creating cost analyses and submitting permitting documentation.
    • Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, environmental standards, building codes, and other safety guidelines.
    • Act as the primary liaison with utility companies and external contractors, managing resources and third-party maintenance services.
    • Leverage technical manuals, OEM representatives, and online resources to troubleshoot and maintain equipment with minimal downtime.
    • Perform additional duties as assigned to support operations and preventative maintenance.
    • Follows all DG safety procedures as per company policies and per the Facility Engineer/Safety Director

    _****Required Qualifications:

    • **__**Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
    • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering (preferred) or another Engineering discipline.
    • 5 years' experience in all facets of facility maintenance with a supervisory background.
    • Proven track record of successfully implementing Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) programs and ensuring regulatory compliance.
    • In-depth knowledge of facilities engineering, maintenance operations, and safety standards.
    • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities for complex technical issues.
    • Excellent leadership skills, with the ability to manage diverse teams.
    • Proficiency in developing cost-effective solutions and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
