    Inpria, a subsidiary of JSR Corporation, has an immediate opening for a Facilities Engineer in Beaverton, OR. You will join our diverse team of talent and contribute to our Pilot Operations team by managing site infrastructure, qualifying and installing new equipment, overseeing external contractors and vendors, and coordinating or performing preventative maintenance required for production of our EUV photoresists. Your experience in facility management, responding to multiple customer requests, updating stakeholders on system status and batch results, supervising personnel, and assisting engineers in issue resolution will help fuel our company’s growth and provide you with opportunities to expand your career.

    Primary Responsibilities:

    • Proactively identify, develop, and implement solutions to optimize facility operations, driving reliability, efficiency, cost savings, safety, and performance improvements
    • Oversee utilities & services, including HVAC, ultra-pure water, natural gas, electric, waste, water, and liquid & compressed gases
    • Maintain relationships with cleanroom, scientific, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, security, and custodial contractors; escalate as necessary to resolve issues
    • Collaborate with key stakeholders and senior management to lead capital expenditure projects from conception to completion.
    • Conduct routine facility and equipment inspections, record findings and detect aberrant behaviors; maintain compliance with all state, city, and county inspection requirements.
    • Track cleanroom particle count and positive pressure performance; practice clean handling procedures to minimize contamination and carry out corrective actions as needed.
    • Compile, monitor, and report on operational and capital budgets and expenditures relating to facility management
    • Coordinate all aspects of site preparation for installation of new equipment and tools
    • Create and update controlled equipment and facilities documentation including process and instrumentation diagrams; maintain drawings of facility and coordinate with Inpria facility lead engineer to modify and redline drawings
    • Provide occasional evening and/or weekend site support, pending business needs
    • Serve as liaison to property manager, representing organizational interests
    • Support EHS functions on site including testing eyewash stations and safety showers; stock first aid and spill kits; stock and manage PPE; oversee testing and calibration of safety equipment

    Key Qualifications:

    • B.S. in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field
    • Minimum of 4 years’ experience managing facilities in an industrial setting
    • Demonstration of active and effective communication skills, verbal and written
    • Well organized, flexible, enthusiastic, and eager to learn
    • Familiarity with OSHA compliance protocols and regulations in a chemical manufacturing environment
    • Proficiency in mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems
    • Experience in preventive maintenance support and computerized maintenance management software
    • Ability to proactively identify and efficiently resolve facilities and equipment issues
    • Experience in Project Management Fundamentals; managing CapEx projects, collaborating with different teams to complete projects on time and under budget
    • Basic knowledge of building codes, regulations, standards, and best practices
    • Ability to analyze and manage costs from initial design through project completion
    • Understanding of Lock-out Tag-out, and safe working procedures
    • Ability to successfully complete a pre-employment drug test

    Physical Requirements:

    • Ability to lift up to 30lbs from floor to countertop
    • Ability to lift 20lbs overhead
    • Ability to wear standard cleanroom attire
    • Ability to wear standard PPE
    • Ability to stand for extended periods of time
    • Ability to use a keyboard and mouse for computer data entry and/or analysis, and presenting data
    • Ability to step into a fume hood for reactor clean-up
    • Ability to wear a respirator (upon training/certification) for processes that may require it
