Must have at least 10 years as a manager of a maintenance staff for a property. Hotel or high-rise maintenance experience preferred. Experience in pool maintenance, elevator operations, janitorial services, construction, & some computer knowledge(for communication and ordering purposes) are some of the skills required to perform the responsibilities of this position. This position manages 2-3 employees as well as working with the HOA Board on issues and projects. The position is 5 days a week but the Facilities Maintenance Director must be available 24/7 to resolve issues that require after hours attention. This position requires a pleasant demeanor as you will be interacting with owners and guests. A valid license and a vehicle suited to pick up materials as needed are required as a condition of employment. Any pertinent certifications for the position are a plus. The Board will pay for obtaining any certifications required for the position.
On the job training will be provided.
