Hours: M-F, 7 AM - 3:30 PM
Pay: $25-$33/hour
Qualifications
• Industrial facilities maintenance: 3 years (Required)
• Ability to shovel snow, drive a small tractor and a plow truck
• Skilled tradesman with 10 years of experience and training in general maintenance, including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, HVAC, etc.
• Proven ability to read and interpret sketches, drawings, diagrams, and blueprints
• Possess competent knowledge of the use and care of tools and equipment used in facility and ground maintenance
• The ability to stand, kneel, lift up to 50 lbs, and work at heights and in confined spaces is required
Responsibilities
• Repair and or coordinate the repairs of buildings and installed systems to include: plumbing systems (sinks, toilets, and faucets, clearing obstructions from water and sewer lines), electrical systems, kitchen equipment, roofs, drains, shop, grounds equipment, and HVAC
• Clean, lubricate, and service a wide variety of pumps, valves, pneumatic controls, electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic devices
• Operate, maintain and repair a variety of mechanical tools, equipment and various hand tools required for carpentry, plumbing, and maintenance skills
• Conduct general maintenance tasks such as changing filters, replacing light bulbs, checking fire extinguishers and emergency lights
• Inspect and troubleshoot equipment and systems
• Light weeding, collecting trash, snow removal at employee entrances, etc
• Drive a company vehicle to pick up local equipment
• Ensure the efficient use of materials and maintain adequate stock of necessary equipment
• Keep company vehicle and equipment properly serviced, clean, and in good working order and condition
• Complete invoices and weekly reports as required
• Replace and repair building finishes such as ceiling tiles, door hardware, wall paint and floors
• Troubleshoot, evaluate, and make recommendations to upgrade maintenance operations and/or implement savings opportunities
• Possess competent knowledge of the use and care of tools and equipment used in facility and ground maintenance
• Respond immediately to emergency situations and customer service requests as assigned
• Inspect buildings, grounds, and equipment for unsafe or malfunctioning conditions, preventative maintenance, etc
• Comply with all applicable codes, regulations, governmental agency, and Company directives as related to building operations and practice safe work habits
