Position Description:
The Facilities Maintenance Technician is responsible for Performance of building maintenance tasks. Candidate should have at least 3 years’ experience in General Maintenance, preferably in a restaurant environment. This is a full-time position, reporting to the General Manager, Danne Delano and Richard Ward, facilities manager.
Key Job Responsibilities:
Repair, maintain/monitor all equipment and amenities. Performs general cleaning and other tasks as assigned. General repairs: painting, caulking, wood repairs Plumbing: toilets, faucets, drains Electrical: Plugs, lights, switches HVAC / Refrigeration: Change filters, clean coils, change belts as required Cooking / Prep equipment: Clean, adjust pilots, basic troubleshooting, change gaskets. Grounds: Basic landscaping and maintenance. Clean windows and glass doors. Change light bulbs, interior and exterior, as needed. On call maintenance for all facilities. Oversee service that provides trash removal and cleaning. Maintain exterior property and outdoor fountain. Oversee daily trash removal, restocking/cleaning restrooms, sweeping/mopping/vacuuming, cleaning/disinfecting tables and counters, cleaning exterior entryway/cigarette receptacles, graffiti removal, cleaning/polishing/floor maintenance for elevators, cleaning/disinfecting community surfaces. Performs other work related duties as assigned. Must be able to work flexible hours & able to follow PM schedules.
