    As a Facilities Management Business Development Intern, the candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the growth and development of our facilities management business. This internship provides a hands-on experience in the field of business development and marketing within the facilities management sector. You will work closely with the business development team to identify opportunities, build relationships, and contribute to the overall success of the organization. Below are the Responsibilities.

    Market Research

    • Conduct market research to identify potential clients and market trends in the facilities management industry.
    • Analyze competitor activities and gather insights to refine the organization's business strategy.

    Lead Generation

    • Assist in the identification and qualification of potential leads and opportunities.
    • Collaborate with the business development team to develop strategies for lead generation.

    Client Engagement (when requested)

    • Support in the preparation of presentations, proposals, and other materials for client meetings.
    • Attend meetings with clients and assist in building strong, lasting relationships.
    • Collaboration
    • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including operations, sales, and marketing, to align business development efforts with overall company goals.

    Networking

    • Attend industry events, conferences, and networking functions to represent the organization and build a professional network.

    Data Analysis

    • Assist in the analysis of business development metrics and provide insights for continuous improvement.

    Developing and Implementing Marketing Materials

    • Content Creation: Assisting in creating content for various marketing channels such as social media, blogs, newsletters, Linked In and website content.
    • Social Media Management: Helping to manage social media accounts by creating posts, scheduling content, and engaging with followers.
    • Campaign Development: Supporting the development and execution of marketing campaigns, including brainstorming ideas, creating assets, and analyzing campaign performance.
    • Analytics and Reporting: Analyzing marketing data and metrics to evaluate the performance of campaigns and provide insights for improvement.
    • Email Marketing: Assisting with email marketing campaigns by creating email templates, managing subscriber lists, and tracking email performance.
    • Collaboration: Working closely with other team members such as graphic designers, copywriters, and marketing managers to support various projects and initiatives.
    • Learning and Development: Actively seeking opportunities to learn about different aspects of marketing and communication, staying up to date with industry trends, and taking on new challenges to expand your skills.
    • Administrative Support: Providing general administrative support such as scheduling meetings, organizing files, and responding to inquiries from customers or stakeholders.

    Documentation

    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of business development activities, leads, and client interactions.
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    This is a paid intern position

    • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
    • Strong interest in facilities management, real estate, or related industries.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant business software.
