    POSITION DESCRIPTION: The Job Location: Phoenix, AZ

    The Facilities Project Manager will oversee planning, construction, and remodeling of various facilities within the Department of Public Safety. This role involves managing contractors, designing buildings, conducting inspections, processing work requests, and ensuring compliance with contracts, building codes, and safety standards. The ideal candidate will coordinate multiple projects, prepare formal bid documents, and maintain accurate records of all projects.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Develop project plans, schedules, and work notices.

    Obtain quotes and estimates, and design layouts for buildings and facilities.

    Administer contracts and inspect construction to ensure compliance.

    Conduct feasibility studies, manage project budgets, and prepare reports.

    Organize meetings, select vendors, and approve project invoices.

    Supervise in-house maintenance technicians and contractors.

    Ensure adherence to safety standards and building codes.

    Required Qualifications:

    · Bachelor’s degree in Construction Project Management or related field.

    · 4 years of experience in construction project management.

    · Proficiency in AutoCAD.

    · Valid Arizona Driver’s License.

    Physical Requirements:

    · Ability to work in diverse environments including construction sites and warehouses.

    · Exposure to dust, fumes, and outdoor weather conditions.
