POSITION SUMMARY
Facilities Specialist repairs and maintains buildings/facilities. Uses expertise for diagnosis and for emergency repairs.
JOB RESPONSIBLITIES
Provides preventive and cost-efficient repairs.
Conducts routine or periodic inspections to determine repair and maintenance work necessary to prevent breakdowns of facilities, machinery and equipment.
Consults with engineers and vendors.
Performs and oversees maintenance trades: carpentry, plumbing, painting, electrical, and welding.
Oversees routine maintenance and cleaning duties of the break rooms, coffee stations, bathroom checks, hanger and office areas.
Maintains and cleans when necessary, the grounds, gardens, fishpond and buildings.
Maintains golf cart.
Assists with furniture set-up and office assembly/removal.
Sets up tables, cabinets, chairs, shelves, etc. for conferences and meetings.
Keep workplace organized.

Advanced Technician Role, requiring Advanced Skills to perform all standard tasks within the Technical Area assigned to. •Maintenance techniques related to carpentry, plumbing, painting, electrical, and welding.
Knowledge of the methods, tools, materials, and equipment used in the construction, maintenance, repair and operation of facilities.
Some knowledge of office ( Excel and Word ), internet explorer, and lotus notes.
ENS system, company policies and procedures.
