    Position Summary:
    We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Facilities Support Specialist.

    The Facilities Support Specialist will be responsible for supporting health technology management systems in accordance with established procedures

    Job Responsibilities:

    • Coordinate and develop healthcare technology management initiatives
    • Identify opportunities for workflow improvement and risk mitigation during healthcare technology system implementation and enhancement nbsp; nbsp;
    • Work closely with clinical engineering teams to implement asset tagging and asset management workflows
    • Manage reporting tools and dashboards and generate reports and graphs to illustrate medical equipment utilization and operational efficiency nbsp; nbsp;
    • Work with operations departments to develop medical equipment utilization requirements and operational benchmarks nbsp;
    • Document and maintain business rules data mapping integration diagrams technical specifications reporting and integration requirements nbsp;
    • Develop the standards of system nomenclature and maintain data consistency nbsp;
    • Monitor work order status preventative maintenance schedules and asset status and make sure they are up to date to maintain a current and accurate inventory of medical equipment
    • Manage data integrity and perform QA/QC to identify data anomalies and deficiencies in health technology management systems
    • Perform user account setup and access level configuration in health technology management systems
    • Develop test cases and training materials and coordinate user training nbsp;
    • Support change management processes and assist in the preparation and submission of change requests with proper justifications nbsp;
    • Log and track problems and work tickets with external vendor support
    • Perform other duties as assigned

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • Bachelors degree in construction management, facilities management, engineering, business administration or relevant work experience
    • 3 years of work experience in facilities management or a relevant setting
    • Experience in reading and interpreting construction drawings and specifications
    • Must be organized detailed orientated dependable and flexible
    • Have excellent oral/written communication skills and be able to communicate effectively with stakeholders regarding design and implementation
    • Must be organized detailed orientated dependable and flexible Ability to multi task and prioritize multiple projects as business needs change
    • Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Bachelors degree in clinical engineering, biomedical equipment technology, information system, business management or related field
    • 2 years of work experience in facilities management or a relevant setting
    • 2 years of work experience in Nuvolo or other CMMS administration

    NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York state Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $67,771.14 - $105,000.00 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
