    Position Summary The Facilities Technician plays a vital role in maintaining the functionality and aesthetic appeal of our distillery facilities. This hands-on position ensures that all buildings, equipment, and infrastructure are well-maintained, safe, and operational. Ideal candidates are proactive problem-solvers with broad maintenance skills and a "can-do" attitude.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Perform routine inspections of buildings and facilities to identify maintenance needs and ensure

    compliance with safety standards.

    Conduct minor repairs on plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC units, and general building

    components.

    Handle basic carpentry tasks, including door adjustments, furniture repairs, and shelving

    installations.

    Paint and touch up walls, equipment, and fixtures as needed.

    Maintain and repair small machinery and tools.

    Ensure the upkeep of exterior areas, including landscaping, snow removal, and general cleaning.

    Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies to minimize downtime.

    Oversee and assist with facility upgrades and renovations.

    Work closely with vendors and contractors when specialized repairs or services are required.

    Maintain accurate logs of maintenance activities and supplies inventory.

    Skills & Qualifications:

    High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications preferred.

    Proven experience as a handyman, facilities technician, or similar role.

    Working knowledge of building systems, including electrical, plumbing, and HVAC.

    Ability to use hand and power tools safely and efficiently.

    Basic proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical documents.

    Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

    Physical ability to lift heavy objects (up to 80 lbs) and work in various environments.

    Strong organizational and time-management skills.

    Must be at least 21 years of age. Must be able to sit and/or stand for long periods of time and
