    Job Description

    The Facilities and Maintenance Manager is responsible for and supervises the maintenance department, ensuring the care and efficient operation of all equipment and facilities used by the organization.

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Provide daily leadership to the maintenance team, managing to set goals of machine uptime, utilization, and maintenance programs.
    • Utilize CMMS software to effectively manage facility maintenance needs, and leverage system data for an impactful preventative and predictive maintenance program.
    • Provide recommendations for purchases of new equipment.
    • Develop and oversee the facility maintenance and preventive maintenance program, ensuring timelines are met.
    • Identify and monitor facilities costs and streamline where possible; prepare annual facility budget.
    • Schedule and manage third-party contractors, as needed, ensuring compliance with all company policies and procedures, and regulatory requirements.
    • Manage and review service contracts to ensure facility management needs are being met.
    • Prioritize, plan and schedule daily maintenance, conduct and document regular facilities inspections.
    • Perform general facility maintenance and repairs, as needed.
    • Oversee facility refurbishment and renovations.
    • Ensure compliance with OSHA, and all other regulatory requirements, in accordance with company policy.
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • 5+ years facilities maintenance experience is required
    • Strong supervisory experience with proven ability to lead a team across three shifts.
    • Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
    • Strong mechanical aptitude, and a working knowledge of electrical, mechanical, PLC, CNC, and automated machine systems.
    • Preventive & predictive maintenance experience.
    • Knowledge of building codes.
    • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and prioritize workload to meet established timelines
    • Knowledge of OSHA regulations.
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
    • Excellent project management skills.
    • Proficient with computer systems and the ability to use programs including word processing, spreadsheets, databases, modeling, graphics and presentation software.
