We are seeking a Facility Maintenance Supervisor to join our team! You will assist operations manager with oversight of daily tasks at SMSI. Benefits: Medical Dental Vision 401(k) Life Insurance Responsibilities: • Be aware of all aspects of oversight that you will be assisting with. • While at the second Springfield location you must monitor all Chestnut activities: opening/closing, layout/storage, housekeeping/organization, and yard/parking lot. • Identify safety concerns and coordinate corrections. • Maintain good housekeeping and organization. • Collaborate with department managers to develop plans for maintaining their areas. • Create and maintain a schedule for maintenance projects with assistance from the operations coordinator. • Supervise warehouse employees to ensure maintenance projects are completed efficiently and effectively. • Maintain cross-department support for pickup, delivery, and fleet management utilizing warehouse resources. • Assist in the documentation of current/future processes. • Enforce SMSI rules for parking including vehicles, trailers, and equipment. • Oversee inclement weather procedures. • Oversight of shipping, receiving, and freight including; data entry for all deliveries, product condition inspection and quantity, labeling product as needed, loading and unloading of trucks, and notifying departments of receipt and location. • Special tasks as assigned. • Periodic assistance at other locations. Qualifications: • Minimum of 2 years of experience in facility maintenance supervision or a related field. • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail. • Understanding of logistics is highly preferred. • OSHA certification is not required but is highly preferred. • Forklift certification is a plus. • Able to travel occasionally when necessary. • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Must be able to adapt to a constantly changing work environment. • Must have excellent time management and planning abilities. Compensation: $25 + hourly DOE
