Position Description
The Facilities Maintenance Worker will assist with the maintenance and upkeep of Government property
under the operational responsibility of Marine Corps Systems Command (MCSC) in the area considered
Hospital Point, Quantico, Va. The Facilities Maintenance Worker will be assigned to directly support the
MCSC G-4, Facilities Lead. They will be responsible to assist in the operating and
maintaining of Government owned equipment for daily operations as well as assisting with inventory and
general maintenance and upkeep in efforts to maintain operational ready buildings and grounds. With the
exception of landscaping and snow removal, all individual service calls or orders shall require less than
32 work-hours to perform. The Facilities Maintenance Worker is responsible to support the readiness and
daily availability of the facilities, the support for planned events, provide support and availability of
assigned equipment and vehicles, and the reporting of status. The Facilities Maintenance Worker is
responsible to ensure the safe operations at all time of personnel, vehicles, and equipment.
