Facility Supervisor is the one responsible for the facility, staff on deck, and patrons in and out of the water. They act as an experienced set of eyes needed to recognize potential problems and to ensure that guests in distress are spotted promptly and that incidents get dealt with efficiently and effectively. They provide continual feedback to staff members and address patron concerns. The Facility Supervisor reports to the Area Facility Coordinator and oversees the Assistant Facility Supervisor, Lifeguard and Swim Lesson Coordinators, along with Cashier Leads.
Job Requirements
Must be at least 21 years old
Have at least 1 year of pool management experience
Must hold current Lifeguard Training/CPR/AED/First Aid certification
Must hold or have the ability to obtain within 30 days of hire a Lifeguard Instructor certification
Enjoy working with people and understand the art of exceptional customer service
Professional and mature demeanor
Ability to make sound decisions under pressure without oversight
Ability to work with, manage, lead, coach and reprimand youth staff
Strong organizational, time management and communication skills
The position works in a wide variety of environments including both a typical office as well as an outdoor aquatic program-oriented environment.
Pay rate and work hours: $254-$25/hr DOE, seasonal full time. Schedule may vary to include weekends and holidays as needed.
Job Duties
Overseeing and carrying out the daily pool operations and supervision of pool staff.
Managing the cleanliness and maintenance of the facility including the mechanical pump area(s)/room(s) to ensure safety, cleanliness, and sanitation of the operations of and in the pool areas, deck areas, and changing rooms at all times.
Act as liaison between the facility and Off-Site Management
Exhibits a positive attitude, clearly communicates with members and staff and provides excellent customer service.

First in line of communication to both the Partnership Site Contact and The Swimming Swan.
Train, motivate, discipline, and supervise all pool personnel.
Reviewing and Approving the ADP schedules and lifeguard rotations
Ensuring lifeguard breaks and all shifts are covered.
Attends and assists in planning all required staff meetings and in-service training.
Maintain the pool, its components, and surrounding facilities in a safe, clean and sanitary condition in good repair and in accordance with State Bathing Codes.
Implement and manage community aquatics activities and events.
Understand functions of all equipment and train staff on said functions.
Responsible for maintaining the facility at inspection-ready status per state and county commercial pool operation regulations during shift.
Ensure correct information is listed on the website and notify management if any changes are needed.
Responsible for daily funds reconciliation in coordination with Cashier Lead.
Oversee retail and food/beverage inventory if offered at the facility.
