    Florida SouthWestern State College is accepting resumes in search of a Faculty Librarian. As a member of FSW, you can directly impact the college’s mission to inspire our students to ' Dedicate to Graduate'. This position is full-time work providing research instruction to Florida SouthWestern State College (FSW) students, staff, and faculty at an FSW campus library. FSW Faculty Librarians collaborate with College faculty to implement a multi-faceted, research-based curriculum constructed around established learning outcomes and assessment protocols. This position is classified as faculty and reports to the Assistant Vice President for Library Services.

    The ideal candidate will have:

    • Master's degree from an American Library Association (ALA) regionally accredited institution of higher education in library and/or information sciences
    • Demonstrated instructional skills and academic background
    • Strong technical and problem-solving skills
    • Knowledge of a wide range of electronic and print resources
    • Ability to conduct presentations on topics related to library resources
    • Works well individually and as a member of a team
    • Ability to work on other campuses when needed.
    • Collaborates with faculty, staff, and administrators to design and implement library components for the College’s First Year Experience program.

    Salary Information: $51,976.01 – $61,643.90 (for two terms): the maximum salary is based on a doctorate education level and 10 years of verifiable full-time teaching experience. Salary will be determined at the hire date.
