    Job Summary

    We are seeking a Family Law Associate Attorney to join our law firm. This opportunity is excellent for those striving to build a strong foundation in family law litigation, refine trial advocacy and negotiation skills, and grow within a firm that offers substantial career advancement opportunities. In this role, you will handle a broad range of family law matters, including divorce, child custody, spousal support, and domestic violence cases. Working closely ith our senior attorneys, you will gain hands-on experience in litigation, mediation, and settlement negotiations. The ideal candidate is a self-starter, highly organized, an effective communicator, and able to work both independently and collaboratively.

    Responsibilities

    ● Draft pleadings, briefs, motions, and other legal memoranda.

    ● Conduct legal research and case analysis.

    ● Represent clients in legal proceedings including hearings, depositions, mediations, and trials.

    ● Develop strategies and collaborate with senior attorneys on complex family law matters.

    ● Negotiate settlements and advocate for clients effectively.

    ● Maintain detailed and accurate client records, case files, and client communications.

    Qualifications

    ● Licensed in California and in good standing with the State Bar.

    ● Minimum 3+ years of civil litigation experience, with a preference for defense litigation.

    ● Advanced verbal and written communication abilities.

    ● Highly organized, responsible, and self-motivated.

    ● Strong legal writing, research, and problem-solving skills.

    ● Ability to strategically collaborate with colleagues to best serve clients.
