We need an experienced attorney who can hit the ground running and provide clients with outstanding representation. You must have a proven history of building trusted relationships with clients, enjoy litigating family law matters, have excellent negotiation skills for settlement, and be able to review and write persuasive declarations and briefs. Location and Flexibility: This full-time position is based out of Ontario, CA, and involves cases in San Bernardino, Riverside, Los Angeles, and Orange County Courts. You must be able to drive to your in-person hearings. We offer some flexibility with work hours in and out of the office. Responsibilities: • Draft and review family law pleadings and forms to ensure they are persuasive, correct, and timely filed, while overseeing the work of Paralegals and Case Managers. • Represent clients in court for RFO hearings, DVROs, VSC/MSCs, and Trials on divorce, child custody, and support issues, as well as during depositions. • Conduct conferences with clients to understand their needs, discuss legal strategies, and gather necessary information in a supportive manner. • Negotiate settlements with opposing counsels/parties to achieve favorable outcomes for clients. • Analyze case information to determine evidence requirements, assign tasks to Paralegals for information gathering, and manage document procurement for cases.
