    Moore Family Law Group is seeking a skilled and experienced Legal Assistant to support our growing legal team. The ideal candidate will have at least 1-2 years of FAMILY LAW experience. You will use your experience and organizational skills to support several CFLS and Sr. level attorneys, prepare and maintain legal documents, schedule appointments, communicate with clients and court personnel, and assist with research and trial preparation. Responsibilities: • Take care of administrative tasks and office correspondence by receiving and sending mail, answering phone calls and emails, communicating with opposing attorney offices and court personnel • File documents with courts throughout California • Help with creating basic court documents, including proofs of service, substitutions of attorney, financial disclosures, and subpoenas • Assist in maintaining client files, electronic and/or physical • Serve documents on opposing parties/counsel and provide ex parte notice pursuant to the code • Work closely with various process servers, court reporters, and other third-party providers • Schedule appointments for clients and send out monthly case updates • Accept other administrative tasks as needed to assist the team and ensure the firm runs smoothly • Perform various clerical duties such as record-keeping, document copying, e-Filing, etc. • Observe confidentiality of attorney-client relationship Qualifications: • Must be able to prioritize tasks with demanding deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment • Organizational skills and communication skills are necessary for this position • Associate’s degree • Customer service and/or sales experience • Ability to manage and capture time • Ability to maintain composure and professionalism under pressure • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (i.e., Outlook, Word, Excel) • Punctual and professional • Ability to communicate effectively with a range of individuals • Ability to exhibit compassion, empathy, and professionalism Compensation: $25 - $27 hourly
