Responsibilities: • Manage the division of marital assets, including real estate, during divorce proceedings when needed • Represent clients in court proceedings as needed • Maintain client files to ensure they are properly organized and up to date • Prepare legal documents such as legal pleadings, motions, marital settlement agreements, contracts, judgments, and orders for a high volume of cases • Advocate on behalf of clients by understanding their needs, effectively analyzing the situation and forming a strategy for a plan of action • Work closely with paralegals and senior partners to ensure swift action through the civil litigation process • Serve people with Compassion and always put the well-being of children first • Strictly observe deadlines and billable hour requirements Qualifications: • Great negotiation and communication skills, particularly in stressful and emotional situations • 4-year degree with a legal background and J.D. degree are necessary for this position • Strong knowledge base of representing plaintiffs and defendants • Must be licensed to practice law in Texas for at least 5 yearsMust have prior litigation experience and successMust have high moral and ethical standardsMust be licensed to practice law in Texas and have good standing with the Texas BarMust have at least 5 years experience in a litigation roleMust have a passionate desire to help families in child custody fights and domestic violence cases Compensation: $83,000+ bonuses
