Seeking a Seasoned Family Law Paralegal

We are a family law firm on track for aggressive growth and need an experienced Family Law paralegal to join our team and work directly with the attorneys to support the team and help our clients.
We protect the most important things to our clients: their bonds with their children and their financial futures. We want to be known for helping our clients come out of extremely emotional processes feeling as though they are a better person and that they had a team behind them that really cared and fought for them. We are growing fast, and we need a paralegal who can hit the ground running.
This position will be responsible for important work, including:
- Preparing “initial draft” pleadings for Complaints for Divorce, Permanent Parenting Plans, Marital Dissolution Agreements, miscellaneous divorce motions and pleadings, discovery responses, Adoption pleadings and Juvenile Court pleadings.
- Working closely with the Firm's family law attorneys to push legal matters forward.
- Being a point of contact for the Firm's family law clients and interacting with clients in person, via email and over the phone to assist our family law attorneys in handling cases.
- Filing pleadings electronically on the Court's electronic filing system.
- Maintaining calendars and scheduling for our attorneys.
- Delegating work to and supervising legal assistants.
- Creating a positive and professional impression and experience for all our clients.

This is a full-time job where you are expected to manage a caseload, so you must be able to work in the office for 40 hours per week. Salary is commensurate with skill and _ experience and is negotiable._ We offer benefits including health insurance, disability insurance, life insurance, matching 401k, and paid time off as well.
