Paralegal at Petrelli Previtera – Empower Clients Through Exceptional Legal Support

Are you a detail-oriented, highly organized individual with a passion for family law? Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy playing an integral role in guiding clients through a transformative experience? Join us at Petrelli Previtera as a Paralegal and become a key player in our mission to provide exceptional service and results to our clients.

At Petrelli Previtera, we're looking for a Paralegal with the experience and hands-on skills to support our attorneys and clients. As a growing, nationally recognized family law firm, you will play a key role in legal document preparation, client communication, and administrative support. You'll play a pivotal role in delivering a seamless client experience, from filing pleadings to managing case-related support.

    Why This Role Matters:

This isn't just about paperwork—it's about empowering clients through exceptional legal support. We need someone who can:

    • Support the Legal Team: You'll work closely with attorneys, assisting in drafting and filing pleadings, organizing case files, and providing administrative support to ensure efficient workflows.
    • Client-Focused Service: As the first point of contact for clients, your role is essential in providing superior customer service, making sure each client feels heard, respected, and well taken care of throughout their legal journey.
    • Enhance Efficiency: You'll manage multiple responsibilities at once, using your organizational skills to streamline processes, ensure accurate documentation, and meet tight deadlines.
    • Collaborate Across Teams: Working in tandem with attorneys, paralegals, and non-legal staff, you'll ensure that client cases are handled professionally and ethically, supporting smooth and efficient workflows.

    What You'll Do:

    • Document Preparation & Filing: Draft legal documents, correspondence, and pleadings, and file them electronically or manually according to Georgia filing processes.
    • Client Support: Assist clients with completing forms, maintain confidentiality, and establish a professional yet personable rapport, offering exceptional client service.
    • Administrative Duties: Provide general administrative support, including scheduling, answering phones, data entry, and calendar management. Utilize legal research tools and case management software to assist attorneys and clients effectively.
    • Collaborative Work: Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient and ethical completion of case-related tasks, adhering to firm policies and procedures.

    What We're Looking For:

    • 2+ years of experience as a Paralegal or Legal Assistant, preferably in family law.
    • Proficiency in Georgia filing processes (both electronic and manual) and legal document drafting.
    • Strong organizational, multitasking, and time-management abilities to handle a variety of case-related and administrative tasks.
    • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with a demonstrated capacity for empathy and professionalism in client interactions.
    • The ability to work both independently and as part of a team, demonstrating a strong commitment to providing the highest level of service.
    • Must be able to reliably commute to our office in Covington, Georgia.
