Our law group is growing fast, and we are looking for a sharp family attorney who will zealously represent clients in all areas of family law. You’ll assist individuals in a variety of situations such as navigating prenuptial agreements and attending court hearings for divorce, alimony/spousal support, and child support. The prime candidate will have experience with a range of sensitive legal issues such as child custody, and be able to maintain composure, negotiate, and argue effectively in emotional and high-stress situations. If you are passionate about helping people navigate some of the most difficult challenges they may face in their lives, start your application today Responsibilities: • Assist clients effectively by understanding their needs analyzing the situation then strategizing and deciding on a proper course of action • Work closely with paralegals and senior partners to ensure swift action through the civil litigation process • Organize and maintain client files to ensure they are kept current • Prepare legal documents such as legal pleadings, motions, marital settlement agreements, contracts, judgments, and orders for a high volume of cases • Ensure clients are effectively represented at court hearings as needed Qualifications: • 4-year degree with a legal background and J.D. degree are necessary for this position • Candidates should be great negotiators and communicators, specifically in situations when emotions and stress are high • In good standing with the FL Bar • At least 4 years of Family Law experience as an attorney Compensation: $100,000 - $130,000 yearly
