Responsibilities: • Maintain client files to ensure they are properly organized and up to date • Collaborate with senior partners and paralegals to effectively move files through the civil litigation process • Assist clients effectively by understanding their needs analyzing the situation then strategizing and deciding on a proper course of action • Ensure clients are effectively represented at court hearings as needed • Handle the division of marital assets, including real estate, during divorce proceedings as needed Qualifications: • Extra consideration for those with a criminal justice background • Must have worked on family law issues for at least 1-2 years; handling of real estate also required • Undergraduate degree with a legal background and Juris Doctor degree required • Active membership with the ABA (American Bar Association) • Proven record of success in advocating for plaintiffs and defendants Compensation: $100,000+ yearly DOE
