Minimum Qualifications
Graduation with degree from an accredited FNP or PA program
Licensed to practice in Virginia as a Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with authorization to prescribe.
Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with a diverse population with varying literacy levels.
Ability to provide care in a multidisciplinary team.
Ability to appropriately treat and examine patients, as well as direct clinical staff as to appropriate follow up, treatment and when necessary, referral of patients for outside care.
Preferred Qualifications
Previous practice in a public health setting
Specialty training and/or experience in GYN, Family Planning, and Communicable and Sexually Transmitted Infections
