    Position Overview: Quality Medical Clinic is a small, private clinic in the Colorado Springs area. We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) to join our family practice office part-time. The FNP will provide high-quality, patient-centered care to individuals of all ages, from newborns to seniors. This role involves working closely with our medical team to assess, diagnose, and treat a wide range of acute and chronic conditions, while promoting overall wellness and preventive care. The FNP will collaborate with physicians, medical assistants, and other healthcare providers to deliver holistic healthcare services in a primary care setting.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Patient Assessment and Care: Conduct comprehensive health assessments, including physical exams, medical history reviews, and diagnostic tests for patients across all age groups.

    Diagnosis and Treatment: Diagnose and treat common acute and chronic illnesses, injuries, and health conditions. Develop and implement treatment plans, prescribing medications and therapies when appropriate.

    Patient Education: Educate patients and their families about health conditions, treatment options, preventive care, and lifestyle modifications.

    Health Promotion and Disease Prevention: Provide counseling on wellness, nutrition, exercise, and preventive screenings to promote overall health and well-being.

    Collaboration: Work alongside physicians, nurses, and other healthcare providers to deliver coordinated care. Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of patient care protocols.

    Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, ensuring compliance with healthcare laws, regulations, and office policies.

    Follow-Up Care: Provide follow-up care and monitor patients' progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.

    Educational and Licensure Requirements:

    Master of Science in Nursing (MSN): Completed an accredited MSN program specializing in Family Nurse Practitioner.

    Nurse Practitioner Certification: National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) from a recognized certification body (e.g., AANP or ANCC).

    State Licensure: Active, unrestricted state licensure to practice as a Family Nurse Practitioner.

    CPR and BLS Certification: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certifications.

    Experience:

    Minimum of 1-3 years of experience as a Family Nurse Practitioner in a primary care or family practice setting preferred (new graduates will also be considered).

    Experience in diagnosing and managing a broad spectrum of acute and chronic health conditions.

    Proficient in performing physical exams, interpreting lab results, and making evidence-based clinical decisions.

    Knowledge of electronic medical records (EMR) systems is desirable- EClinicalWorks

    Work Environment:

    This position will be based in a family practice office setting.

    The FNP will work 2 days a week, 9am-5pm- averaging 18-20 patients per day
