Our firm supports provisions that address individuals and communities adversely impacted by previous public health & health care policies. We are looking for top-performing contractors to join our team and contribute to our service initiatives, which include: Behavior Aide (BA), Family/Children counseling, Family/ Children assessments, Transportation/ Escorting, Child Supervision, and Drug Screening.
These services will be provided in the following Georgia counties: Region 1- ** Catoosa, Dade, and Murray. ** ** Region 3- Fannin County.******
Family Support Specialists (Behavior Aides) are tasked with offering transportation and/or oversight to clients (children or adults) for community visits, appointments (medical, dental, counseling, etc.), school, or other activities specified by the case manager. Other responsibilities include but are not limited to:
· Assist with keeping accurate and current documentation on each client
· Be able to monitor and assess the behavior of youth
· Assist with the documentation of case findings promptly
· Remain current and compliant with the necessary training
· Conduct home visits (if needed)
· Answer telephone calls and emails promptly
· Respond to requests for information from stakeholders in a timely fashion
· Always promote a positive image of Comprehensive Family Care and its programs
· Attend required meetings as needed
· Adhere to the organization's policies and procedures
· Participate in clinical consultation and training as needed
Qualifications:
· High School Diploma/GED & 1 or more years of human service experience where you assisted/provided aide/worked with children or adults. A Child Development Associate certificate (CDA) Required
· Bachelor's or Masters Degree in Human Services field: psychology, social work, behavioral sciences, child and family studies, community mental health, counseling, human services, psychology, sociology, counseling, social work, child development, community mental health, criminal justice, and Education preferred
