Excellent Opportunity to join a long standing Prescott family-owned company. Fann Contracting, Inc. has been around for over 60 years and has an opening for a hands-on CONTROLLER. This position reports to the CFO and directly oversees the accounting functions for the company. This includes accounts payable, lien waivers, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, payroll, job cost, inventory and equipment accounting. The Controller will have an integral role within the job cost forecasting as well as prepare the monthly/quarterly/yearly financial reports. The Controller will lead and oversee any audits (internal and external) as well as file all necessary federal/state reporting. Additionally, all other accounting functions not listed will be the responsibility of the Controller. Requirements include: College degree in Accounting and/or related business major, with 5-10 years of increasing work experience. Construction Accounting or CPA/public accounting experience highly preferred. Excellent communication and management skills a must as this position will oversee 7 staff members. Must possess the ability work with assigned staff and other employees alike. Fann Contracting offers a competitive salary and benefits. Some of which are paid vacation, sick leave, health, vision, dental and life insurance. Compensation will be based on experience: Range is from $65,000 to $75,000. The workdays would be Monday to Friday, and it is an exempt position. There is potential for bonus pay.
