This unique opportunity allows you to be prepared with a seasoned agent who will show you the ropes on how to sell, solicit, differentiate, and negotiate insurance plans to build your book of business. Responsibilities: • Meet established new business production objectives to further the agency’s overall financial goals • Compile, present, and explain insurance policy options that meet each potential customer’s individual needs • Drive sales among potential clients by making phone calls, composing text messages, and sending emails regularly • Build the skills and confidence necessary to achieve self-sufficiency as an insurance agent with your mentor • Create new and continued business by uncovering opportunities to upsell and cross-sell financial products • Handle customer inquiries • Sell and solicit/provide information about the products and services • Troubleshoot and resolve product issues and concerns • Document and update customer records based on interactions • Develop and maintain a knowledge base of the evolving products and services Qualifications: • Candidates must clear a background check • Proven leadership and communication skills • Have a knack for connecting with others for building great rapport and relationships • Job seekers must already have or be willing to get their state Property and Casualty as well as Life and Health insurance licenses • At least one year of experience working in sales or the insurance industry desired • Previous experience in customer service, sales, or other related fields • Ability to build rapport with clients • Ability to prioritize and multitask • Positive and professional demeanor • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Must be willing to obtain an Insurance License Compensation: $45,000 - $60,000 yearly
