FARMERS INSURANCE GROUP WESTSIDE DISTRICT OFFICE IS SEARCHING FOR AN ENERGETIC RECRUITER TO JOIN OUR TALENT ACQUISITION TEAM IN THE HOUSTON MARKET. WE OFFER AN EXCITING, FAST-PACED WORK ENVIRONMENT WITH AN OPPORTUNITY FOR GROWTH. THE PRIMARY ROLE OF AN AGENCY CAREER SPECIALIST INVOLVES SOURCING, SCREENING, AND SELECTING CANDIDATES WHO HAVE THE DESIRE, SKILLSET AND MEANS TO BUILD THEIR OWN INSURANCE AGENCY. TO BE EFFECTIVE IN THIS ROLE, THE RECRUITER WILL NEED TO SUCCESSFULLY EXECUTE THE RECRUITING PROCESS, AS LAID OUT BY THE DIRECTOR OF AGENCY OPERATIONS & DEVELOPMENT. THIS IS AN ENTRY LEVEL POSITION.

UNDERSTAND BUSINESS OBJECTIVE AND RECRUITING GOALS AS DETERMINED BY THE DIRECTOR OF AGENCY OPERATIONS & DEVELOPMENT.
LEVERAGE ONLINE RECRUITING RESOURCES TO IDENTIFY, ATTRACT, PRESENT AND RECRUIT TOP-TIER TALENT.
REVIEW RESUMES AND DETERMINE LEVEL OF SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS IN RELATION TO POSITION REQUIREMENTS.
EFFECTIVELY POSITION AND SELL PROFESSIONAL OPPORTUNITIES TO BOTH ACTIVE AND PASSIVE CANDIDATES.
PRE-SCREEN CANDIDATES AND SCHEDULE INTERVIEW.
INTERVIEW CANDIDATES BY USING BEHAVIORAL-BASED SELECTION INTERVIEW QUESTIONS AND PRESENTING BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY WITH FARMERS INSURANCE GROUP.
MAINTAIN ACCURATE AND WELL-ORDERED DOCUMENTATION ON ALL CANDIDATES, AND RECRUITING ACTIVITIES.
UTILIZE IN HOUSE APPLICANT TRACKING SYSTEM TO MONITOR AND COMMUNICATE WITH PROSPECTS AS THEY PREPARE FOR EFFECTIVE DATE.
PRODUCE WEEKLY REPORTS AND ANALYSIS ON CANDIDATES FOR ALL POSITIONS AND OVERALL UPDATES ON RECRUITMENT EFFORTS.

BACHELOR’S DEGREE BUSINESS MARKETING, MANAGEMENT OR RELATED FIELD REQUIRED.
A MINIMUM OF 1 YEAR OF SALES, MARKETING OR RECRUITING EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
SPECIAL SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:
PROFICIENT USE OF SOCIAL MEDIA PLATFORMS (LINKEDIN, FACEBOOK, ETC.).
STRONG COMPUTER SKILLS AND PROFICIENT IN MICROSOFT OFFICE, WORD, EXCEL, POWERPOINT AND OUTLOOK.
MAYBE CALLED UPON TO PERFORM JOB DUTIES OUTSIDE OF STANDARD BUSINESS HOURS. ALSO MAY BE CALLED UPON TO ASSIST WITH OTHER DUTIES OUTSIDE OF THIS PARTICULAR SCOPE OF WORK.
BILINGUAL IS HIGHLY PREFERRED.
