Responsibilities:
- Take customer orders and process payments using the Point of Sale (POS) system
- Prepare and serve food items according to company standards and recipes
- Ensure food quality and presentation meets customer expectations
- Provide excellent customer service, addressing any concerns or inquiries
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, kitchen, and restrooms
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Upsell menu items and promote special offers to increase sales
- Assist with bussing tables and cleaning up after customers
Skills:
- Time management: Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Customer service: Strong interpersonal skills with a friendly and positive attitude towards customers
- Food service: Knowledge of food handling procedures, portion control, and food safety regulations
- Restaurant experience: Familiarity with restaurant operations and ability to work as part of a team
- Kitchen skills: Basic cooking skills like fries and make a sandwich
- POS system proficiency: Experience using Point of Sale systems for order processing and payment handling
- Retail math: Basic math skills for cash handling, calculating change, and managing transactions
