Job Summary:

SST/BBT is seeking reliable and dedicated Delivery Drivers to join our team. As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of packages to residential and commercial locations within a designated area. You will represent FedEx Ground in a professional manner and ensure excellent customer service is provided at all times.

Key Responsibilities:

- Operate a FedEx delivery vehicle in a safe and efficient manner, ensuring compliance with all traffic regulations and company policies.

- Load and unload packages weighing up to 150 lbs, using appropriate lifting techniques and equipment as needed.

- Plan daily routes to maximize efficiency and timeliness of deliveries.

- Deliver packages to residential and commercial addresses while maintaining a high standard of customer service.

- Collect payments and obtain signatures as required.

- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and maintenance of delivery vans.

- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including any issues or delays.

- Communicate with dispatchers and supervisors regarding delivery status and any challenges faced in the delivery process.

- Uphold FedEx Ground's commitment to safety and sustainability in all aspects of the job.

Qualifications:

- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

- Previous delivery driving experience preferred but not mandatory.

- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 150 lbs.

- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently.

- Excellent communication and customer service skills.

- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.

- Flexibility to work varying hours, including one weekend day per week
