• Conduct thorough market research to identify potential clients, competitors, and industry trends
• Analyze data to assess market demands and opportunities for business expansion. Focus Arears: NAVFAC, AFCEC, NIH, NIST, AOC,
• Assist in the preparation and submission of proposals, bids, and tender documents
• Collaborate with technical teams to ensure proposals align with client needs and industry standards
• Cultivate and maintain relationships with existing and potential clients
• Attend industry events, conferences, and networking functions to promote the company and identify business opportunities
• Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute lead generation strategies
• Identify and qualify potential leads through targeted outreach and relationship building
• Coordinate meetings, presentations, and business development activities
• Support the development and execution of strategic business plans

Qualifications
• Experience in the Federal DOD market working with NAVFAC/AFCEC is highly preferred
• Existing relationships with NIH, NIST, AOC agencies a plus
• Bachelor’s degree, degree in engineering a plus
• Ability to appropriately prioritize projects
• 5+ years of proposal writing/BD experience
• Strong understanding of Architectural - Civil engineering concepts and industry trends.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
Additional Information
Proposed Salary: $110 - 130k annual
Other compensation: opportunities for annual increase and bonus, and other types of bonuses
