Job Description

FSD’s CalFresh team assists eligible clients with the CalFresh application, dispels myths about CalFresh, and helps eliminate barriers to accessing the program. We work collaboratively with the County of San Diego Health and Human Services Agency, and other CalFresh advocates to provide support for clients throughout the complex application process.
Under the direction of the CalFresh Manager, the CalFresh Intern will conduct phone application assistance through our FANO Google SNAP referrals and follow-up with clients, build relationships with community members and application assistance, and provide case management and advocacy for clients.
