The Field Assistant will play a key role in supporting our roofing teams and ensuring smooth operations by preforming daily task. You will assist with documentation, site visits, and communication, while helping with day-to-day functions and processes. You must have a valid driver’s license and be able to lift at least 80lbs to perform the necessary task for this position.
Key Responsibilities:
Job Walks: Conduct site visits to assess roof conditions and verify work completed. Assist in identifying potential issues and provide feedback to management.
Field Maintenance: Support on-site activities and maintenance tasks to ensure work is completed. This may include loading and unloading roof materials, clearing debris and assisting with anything the foremen on-site needed.
Preparing Documentation: Prepare and maintain accurate documentation, including job logs, photos, service requests, and reports.
Picking Up Materials: Organize and pick up roofing materials and supplies required for projects, ensuring timely delivery to job sites.
Visiting Job Sites: Visit various job sites to inspect progress, verify work quality, and collect necessary data for reporting.
Providing Reports and Feedback: Provide regular updates on daily task, including photos, reports, challenges, and any concerns documented on each jobsite.
Problem-Solving: Identify challenges or issues on job sites, communicate them to management, and assist in resolving the problem.
Communication: Maintain clear and effective communication with clients, field teams, and management to ensure the smooth flow of information and successful project completion.
Qualifications:
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
Basic understanding of commercial roofing systems is a plus but not required.
Ability to problem-solve and think on your feet.
Ability to lift up to 100 pounds and work in various weather conditions.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Ability to speak Spanish is a plus but not required.
