    Position Mission

    The purpose of this position is to assist FOCUS with a range of studio and video production needs. This person is the primary videographer for FOCUS and manages the FOCUS studio. This role also includes post-production work, when necessary.

    Position Responsibilities

    • ****Film, livestream, and support FOCUS video content production * Film content for all departments in FOCUS * Occasionally assist with livestream events and meetings
    • Edit videos for stakeholders and do post-production
      • This includes, but is not limited to, video editing, sound editing, graphics, and publishing across various platforms
    • Take lead on management and upkeep of the FOCUS recording studio
      • Manage and upkeep video equipment, including ongoing improvements and purchasing equipment
      • Manage reservations of studio and studio equipment
      • Equip users to use studio resources
      • Manage software subscriptions
      • Video file management and organization

    Qualifications

    • Understanding of videography equipment and software
    • Video editing
    • Studio management
    • Cinematography
    • Project Management
    • Sound design
    • Graphics
    • Customer service to FOCUS speakers, teachers, and staff
    • Work independently and proactively to ensure effective completion of work

    Compensation & Benefits

    For this role, we anticipate paying $40,000-$65,000/year. This range is an estimate. The actual amount may be higher or lower than the provided range and will be adjusted based on various factors including qualifications, experience, abilities, geographic location, and duties.

    Personal Mission Partner Development (MPD) is one way in which FOCUS invites others to be on mission with us through the gift of their financial support. In this position, the Studio Specialist will be expected to fundraise a minimum of $3,260 per month to support their work with FOCUS.
