    Spirit Rhode Island's facility is focused on textile engineering and manufacturing of 2D woven fabrics, 3D woven preforms, braided materials and resin transfer molded composites. We work with the stiffest, strongest, and lightest fiber in the world including carbon, glass, aramid (Kevlar) and ceramic.

    Our products are being used on ground-breaking space initiatives such as NASA's Mars Sample Return mission, important missile programs, airfoils in commercial and military jet engines, and as lightweight armor for US military ground vehicles.


    ** Your role : **Spirit Textiles is seeking a passionate and driven Inside Sales Representative to join our growing team in Rhode Island. You will play a crucial role in driving sales, building relationships with key customers, and contributing to the company's continued success.

    ** Job Responsibilities:**

    • Prospecting and qualifying leads by utilizing various methods to identify potential customers within target markets
    • Developing and nurturing relationships by building trust and rapport with clients, understanding their needs, and presenting customized solutions
    • Providing technical expertise and support sharing in-depth knowledge of carbon fiber textiles and their applications to educate clients and propose the most suitable products
    • Providing sales forecasts and providing input to and managing production schedules to support meeting customer needs
    • Attending industry conferences and exhibitions to generate leads for new sales
    • Negotiating and closing deals, successfully converting leads into sales through effective communication, negotiation skills, and value-driven proposals
    • Preparing and delivering presentations to clearly communicate the benefits of our products and address client needs and concerns through informative presentations
    • Maintaining accurate records and reports, including inputting data into the CRM system, tracking sales activities, and generating reports on performance metrics
    • Collaborating with internal teams: Working closely with marketing, contracts, and production to ensure a seamless customer experience

    ** What we need from you:**

    • A degree in business/marketing/communications/engineering or other related field
    • Minimum 3+ years of experience in B2B sales, preferably in the industrial materials or manufacturing segment
    • Strong understanding of sales fundamentals, prospecting techniques, and negotiation tactics
    • Proven ability to build strong relationships and effectively communicate with clients at all levels
    • Data-driven approach with a focus on achieving and exceeding sales targets
    • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
    • Proven ability to build strong relationships and effectively communicate with clients at all levels
    • Familiar with Microsoft Office
