    Job Description

    POSITION SUMMARY

    We are looking for a Human Resources Specialist to join the Fidelity National Home Warranty Team in our Henderson Nevada Location.

    This position will work closely with the HR Team in supporting and maintaining and managing employee relationships as part of the overall HR Process.  This position requires the highest level of confidentially, and the ability to drive results.

    Ultimately, you will foster a healthy workplace by ensuring our HR procedures always run smoothly.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Process new hire paperwork and terminations
    • Process unemployment claims
    • Track and manage Leaves of Absence
    • Prepare and review compensation and benefits packages
    • Administer health and life insurance programs
    • Assist with implement training and development plans
    • Inform employees about additional benefits they’re eligible for (e.g., extra vacation days)
    • Update employee records with new hire information and/or changes in employment status
    • Processes or acquires background checks
    • Maintain organizational charts and detailed job descriptions along with salary records
    • Support recruitment needs and ensure recruitment process runs smoothly
    • Must be able to understand overarching laws and help our employees understand their role in ensuring legal and internal policy compliant leaves
    • Follow all lawful employer safety and health rules
    • Process employees’ queries and respond in a timely manner
    • Stay up-to-date and comply with changes in labor legislation

     

    REQUIREMENTS

    • Proven work experience as an HR Specialist or HR Coordinator
    • Hands-on experience with Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS), like BambooHR and Oracle a plus
    • Knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems
    • Solid understanding of labor legislation and payroll process
    • Familiarity with full cycle recruiting
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Good problem-solving abilities
    • Must be able to interface at all levels
    • Strong internal and external customer service focus
    • Strong organizational skills and ability to maintain a high level of accuracy
    • Ability to process numerical data
    • Must be able to interface at all levels of the organization
    • BSc/MSc in Human Resources or relevant field

    COMPUTER / TECHNICAL SKILLS AND /JOB SPECIFIC SKILLS

    ·        Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Programs and proficient in Excel and spreadsheets

    ·        Ability to learn new systems

    ·        High attention to detail

    ·        This is a non-exempt position
